The legislation of the Republic of Latvia stipulates that the owner of an online store must outline the terms of product delivery and returns, as well as the right of withdrawal. This provision is known as a distance contract (Cabinet of Ministers regulations).
Distance contract
The seller of the goods offered in this online store, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, hereby conclude the following Agreement:
The Seller agrees to sell and deliver the goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer's order.
Delivery and payment procedure
The Buyer places an order for goods through this website, specifying the type and quantity of the goods to be purchased. The Buyer has the option to make payment for the goods using the payment tools integrated into the online store or by paying the invoice prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer via email, which corresponds to the order. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature.
The Seller ensures the delivery of goods within 14 days from the receipt of payment for the goods or agrees on the delivery time with the Buyer, in any case, if the goods have been reserved and are not yet available. Information that the goods are unavailable is provided in the product description.
Right of withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the goods within 14 calendar days from the moment of receiving the goods by sending a withdrawal letter to the Seller. The Seller will send the Buyer a withdrawal letter template via email upon the Buyer’s request.
The Buyer is obliged to return the goods to the Seller within 7 days of sending the withdrawal letter. The Buyer will bear all costs associated with returning the goods to the Seller. The money for the returned item and delivery costs is refunded on the same day the Seller receives the returned item.
(Latviešu versija: Nauda par atgriezto preci un piegādes izdevumiem tiek atgriezta tajā pašā dienā, kad Pārdevējs ir saņēmis preci atpakaļ.)
The Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:
The ordered goods, by their nature, cannot be returned, or they deteriorate quickly or are perishable;
The ordered goods have been made specifically for the Buyer according to an individual order.
According to Section 6 of Article 12 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia, "the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period of exercising the right of withdrawal." The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer’s right of withdrawal or charge a compensation fee if the goods are damaged, if the goods have been mishandled during use, if the instructions were not followed, or if the original packaging of the goods is lost or significantly damaged.
Data processing
By entering the required information when placing an order, the Buyer acknowledges and agrees that the provided data will be used by the Seller to process the Buyer’s order and ensure delivery of goods in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees to receive notifications related to the processing of the Buyer’s order sent to the specified email address.
